Jacket held by curator Adrian GreenThe Bromley Museum recently acquired a hand-decorated velvet blazer worn by a young David Jones. The museum won the jacket at a Christie’s auction for £400. Anyone who wishes to see the jacket for themselves can do so at the upcoming punk and mod exhibit in November. For more details on the dates of the exhibit visit their webpage.     The Bromley Times published follow-up article with quotes from Bowie and Total Blam Blam confirming that the jacket did in fact belong to Bowie.

    Yet another chapter in the story of the green jacket as reported on by the Bromley Times. A former member of the Riot Squad, Stella Goll, says that while they did have the jackets specially made for them that Bowie did not put the blue lines on the jacket until after he left The Konrads.
